Anya is the Founder and Principal Registered Psychologist of MindSync Psychology. Please note - Anya’s books are full and she is not taking on any new clients presently.
In her practice, Anya brings a heartfelt approach to psychological sessions, creating an atmosphere of genuine care and understanding. Demonstrating unwavering dedication, she establishes a space where individuals feel heard and valued, fostering an environment conducive to personal exploration and growth. With a gentle and supportive demeanour, Anya seeks to instil comfort, enabling clients to navigate challenges with ease. Moreover, she introduces a creative and artistic element to sessions, providing a unique perspective that enriches the therapeutic experience.
Anya has experience assessing and treating children and adolescents, as well as adults, with a wide range of presentations and concerns, including anxiety (e.g., OCD, panic attacks, social anxiety, separation anxiety, etc.), depression, sleep-related difficulties, emotion regulation, ADHD, Autism, anger, relationship issues (e.g., friendships, parents, intimate partners), learning difficulties, etc.
Additionally, Anya is formally trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and administering, scoring, and interpreting various psychometric assessments (including the Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V), Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-IV), Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III), and Conners-4.
Anya is registered by the Psychology Board of Australia and Medicare.
